Meet Dr. Karen Lewis Connell

After 25 years of private practice in Anniston, AL, Dr. Karen Lewis Connell is excited to join her husband in this community and serve the people of Baldwin County. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.

Originally an art major, Dr. Connell decided to return to school to become a dentist. She loves how dentistry combines science and art, allowing her to serve others. While in Anniston, she was also blessed to practice dentistry with her father, Dr. Art Lewis, for 11 years before his retirement. Dr. Connell is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Dentists.

Outside the practice, Dr. Connell enjoys listening to Hillsong and Elevation Worship, watching college football, reading, hiking, biking, skiing, cooking, and boating with her husband and children. She is also involved in the children’s ministry at Parker Memorial Baptist Church and is a volunteer dentist at Interfaith Dental Clinic in Anniston.
